Alex Sumberg has worked in electoral politics at a state, local, and national level, as both an independent consultant and on staff with some of the largest consulting firms in the US. He has led successful grassroots field operations fighting and advancing controversial land use projects in 11 states; created Pollie Award winning direct mail; and served as a trusted operative and advisor to Senators, candidates, corporations, and non-profit agencies. He has a 100% win record for all advocacy cases he has taken on for clients.
Alex completed graduate level work at NYU in Politics-Political Campaign Management, and has been published in both scholarly and popular political journals, and has guest lectured on organizing political field operations for Masters-level candidates.
Previously, Alex had been working on the West coast and Hawaii for the last 12 years on large retail, real estate, issue advocacy and transportation development projects, Alex’s successes include the creation of the Honolulu light-rail initiative in 2008, which represents the largest approved and state-funded public works project in the history of Hawaii.
Today Alex calls Vermont home as he continues his work nation wide.
